I Am African

I am an African

Who is proud of my land

With no discrimination

Together we stand

At the same pace

To the beating of a drum

Our hearts race

As we are one

Race shouldn’t matter

It’s just a mediocre colour

Because as blood, everyone’s blood

Is all a mighty, mighty red

How easy it is to be in motion

With our beautiful scenery and ocean

How much this means to me

And it’s all just simply free

We are African

We are proud of our land

With no discrimination

Together we stand
